OVERVIEW

The J1 Summer Work & Travel (SWT) program allows students at the tertiary level to engage in cultural exchange activities during the summer months of May-September, in The United States. Students will experience the day to day living in America, meet students from other countries, gain work experience and learn time and money management. At the end of their program, students are given a grace period, for which they may use to travel and visit family or friends before returning home.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be full-time student pursuing a bachelors/associate degree or a three (3) year diploma program.

• Must be between the ages of 18-30 years.

• Must have a G.P.A of 2.0 or higher

• Must have at least one semester completed.
